Thom Christopher (born October 5, 1940 in Jackson Heights, New York City, NY, USA) is an actor possibly remembered best by science fiction fans for his portrayal of Hawk, a half-man, half-bird warrior who appeared in the second season of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" (1981). Thom has also appeared in films such as Roger Corman's Space Raiders, Andy Colby's Incredible Adventure, Street Hunter (with Reb Brown and John Leguizamo), Blood and Wine (with Jennifer Lopez, Michael Caine and Jack Nicholson), Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot, Bridget (with Victor Argo), The Warrior Class (with Robert Vaughn) and the 2016 drug drama ADDicted.

Thom also portrayed various characters on "T.J. Hooker" (with William Shatner), "Simon & Simon", "Murder, She Wrote" and the "Law & Order" franchise. He had recurring guest roles on the hit crime show "Kojak" as well as the soap operas "Guiding Light" and "One Life to Live".

For Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans, Thom appears in overacting form as the main villain, Troxartas (who resembles The Muppets' character Sam the Eagle), who gets killed by John Allen Nelson's fake, plastic sword in Experiment 703 Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell. He was later seen in the 1985 film Wizards of the Lost Kingdom which was a similar fantasy production and premise only this time riffed by RiffTrax in spring of 2016.
