The theater hallway leads from the Bridge of The Satellite of Love to the Mystery Science Theater. The hallway is entered through a huge door located behind the counter on the Bridge. Inside the hallway there are series of doors, typically numbered six to one. Cambot is usually the only character who actually uses the hallway to get from the bridge to the theater and back between the host segments and movie segments. When he passes through the hallway, the doors either open or close in front of him, depending on where he is going. The other characters usually use another unseen entrance. Joel did travel down the hallway during Experiment #K11 and #105. Mike later did it during the experiment involving This Island Earth and Experiment #1001.

Blue door that flips up, away from the camera when opening, and down when closing
Green door that splits in half, with one half moving downward and the other going upward, and going into each other when closing
Yellow door that slides to the right when opening, and the left when closing
Purple door with torches on either side, which slides down when opening, and up when closing
Red fence that slides up when opening, and down when closing
A brown hatch that flips open to the left, leading to the theater when opening, and to the right when closing
A pair of doors with circular windows that open away from the camera, and to the camera when closing. Note: This door also shows a cockroach zipping by on the floor, both when opening and closing. From episode 812 onward, the sound effects when closing later changed. This was designed by Jef Maynard and Trace Beaulieu to resemble a hospital door, as a nod to the birth sketch in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.[1]
Door opens with six triangular-shaped wedges moving away from the center when opening, and to each other when closing. Door 5's design was based on the "asterisk-like drawing" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. in his novel Breakfast of Champions. Among the objects attached to the wall is a tiny Pee-Wee Herman figure.[1] (The asterisk in question is, famously, Vonnegut's "drawing of an asshole.")[2]
A drawbridge with red-colored lights on its backside that falls down when opening, and lifts up when closing. Door 4 was a last-minute replacement for another design which turned out to be impossible to build. This door was being wired by Jim Mallon until the last possible moment.[1]
A door with holes cut in it, pink lighting, and bubbles floating that opens by sliding up when opening, and sliding down when closing. If one looks closely it is possible to see the number 3 in bright pink. Door 3 is surrounded by a Doctor Forrester figure, a Mr. Peabody figure, and the packing material from daisy-wheel printer fonts. [1]
A door decorated with various bones and skeletons and two screens showing a "Movie Countdown" that opens away from the camera when opening, and to the camera when closing. This complex door was Jef Maynard's personal favorite, and was intended as something of an homage to the KTMA door sequence. Materials to make it included an assemblage of toys and driftwood.[1]
Grey hatch with the numbers 1-6 and a white tire around it that flips open to the right when opening, leading to the theater, and to the left when closing. The handle of Door 1 is the steering wheel from a sports car driven by Tom Servo in a previous episode. The "steel skid-plate" walls were made by vacuforming plastic over pills left over from the "hard-to-swallow pills" invention exchange from Episode 320.[1]
