Robert Z'Dar (June 3, 1950 - March 30, 2015) was an American B-movie actor, best recognized for his usually large chin and jawline. Z'dar's unusual facial characteristics were caused by a rare genetic condition known as cherubism.
Z'Dar was perhaps best known for his roles in the Maniac Cop trilogy and Tango and Cash (with Sylvester Stallone, Brion James and Jack Palance). Z'Dar often co-starred in films with his good friend Joe Estevez.
Z'Dar died on March 30, 2015 in a Pensacola, Florida hospital due to cardiac arrest. He had been in town for the Pensacon multi-genre convention and had been hospitalized after experiencing chest pains.
