Maximus was the Roman soldier that Flavia assigned to guard Pearl Forrester, Brain Guy, and Professor Bobo. Since other guards confiscated Brain Guy's brain, the prisoners were unable to teleport out and escape their impending execution. However, Maximus solved this (unintentionally) by giving Brain Guy his brain and casually asking if it was his, allowing the prisoners to escape. Right after this, Maximus is last seen arresting Flavia.
Though he was named when giving Pearl water after she asked for it (a Red Zone Cuba reference), he was only credited as "Roman Soldier". He was one of many who presumably died when Prof. Bobo knocked over a candle while escaping, torching the city to the ground.
