Khan Bonfils (born 1972; passed away January 5, 2015) was a British film and stage actor who trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He was a trained Martial Artist and studied the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu from Austin Goh, and was also a practitioner of Yin Style Ba Gua Zhang in London since 2008. He also had a brief modeling career with Michiko Kochino, Hermes, Oswald Boateng and more prior to acting.
His film credits include portraying the background character of Jedi Master Saesee Tiin in Star Wars- Episode I: The Phantom Menace (with Liam Neeson and Samuel L. Jackson) as well as henchmen in Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (with Angelina Jolie and Gerard Butler) and Batman Begins (again with Neeson and with Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine). He continued to portrayed henchmen such the James Bond films Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and Skyfall (2012) respectively, as a different character each go-around.
On January 5 of 2015, Bonfils was rehearsing an upcoming stage production of Dante's Inferno when he suddenly collapsed. He could not be resuscitated, and was pronounced dead by paramedics. He was 42 years old at the time of announced death.
