John Ernest "Johnny" Crawford (born March 26, 1946) is an American actor and musician. He is best known to Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans for playing the role of Horsey in the 1965 Bert I. Gordon film Village of the Giants.
Crawford is the son of Robert Lawrence Crawford, Sr. and Betty Megerlin Crawford. He is the younger brother of Robert L. Crawford, Jr. Crawford, his brother, and his father were all nominated for Emmy Awards. Crawford has been married to Charlotte Samco since 1995.
Crawford's first appearance in front of a national audience was as a mouseketeer in the 1950s. He first gained fame as Lucas McCain's son Mark in the late 50s / early 60s ABC series "The Rifleman". He also made guest appearances on a variety of television shows such as "Mr. Ed", "Rawhide", "Hawaii Five-O", "Little House on the Prairie" and "Murder, She Wrote". One of his more well known non-MST3K movie roles was as Luke MacDonald on the film El Dorado.
