James Earl Jones is an acclaimed theater and movie actor, best known for The Great White Hope, Cry, the Beloved Country, Field of Dreams, Best of the Best (with Eric Roberts and Simon Rhee), the Jack Ryan franchise (Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger) and for recurring TV roles on "Homicide: Life on the Street" and "Under One Roof."

He made his debut in Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb!. In 2011, he received the Academy Honorary Award in recognition of his long and varied career in films.

He is better known to some blockbuster film audiences perhaps as the voice of villain Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy (all of which were parodied by RiffTrax) and for Disney's The Lion King.

Jones appears in Experiment 403 City Limits. Upon introducing the film to the SOL crew, Dr. Forrester remarks that this was done during a low point in Jone's otherwise fantastic career. Throughout the series and especially during this movie riffing, Joel and the Bots (mainly Crow) made amusing references to Jones stint as being the voice of CNN Cable TV News (from the 90s to present day).
