Gary Leonard Oldman (born 21 March 1958 in New Cross, London, England, UK) is an English screen and stage actor, filmmaker and musician best known for his portrayals as Sid Vicious on Sid and Nancy, Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK (with Kevin Bacon), as Count Dracula in Francis Ford Coppola's adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula (with Keanu Reeves and Monica Bellucci), Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Ludwig van Beethoven in Immortal Beloved, as Egar in Air Force One (with Harrison Ford and Andrew Divoff), Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movie series (with Daniel Radcliffe), James Gordon in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy (with Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Heath Ledger and Christian Bale) and as George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

He also made other film appearances in State of Grace, Criminal Law (again with Bacon and with Joe Don Baker), Léon: The Professional (with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman), True Romance (with Christian Slater and Samuel L. Jackson), Murder in the First (again with Slater and Bacon), The Contender (with Jeff Bridges), Hannibal (with Anthony Hopkins), The Backwoods, The Book of Eli (with Denzel Washington and Sala Baker), Lawless (with Guy Pearce), 2014's Robocop (again with Jackson) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (with Andy Serkis, Michael Papajohn and Thomas Rosales Jr.).

He also had voice roles for Quest for Camelot, the 2009 animated version of A Christmas Carol, Planet 51 and Kung Fu Panda 2.
