Ricardo Montalbán (1920-2009) was one of the first successful Mexican actors in Hollywood, who was best known for starring in hit sequels to Star Trek, Planet of the Apes (with Roddy McDowall), The Naked Gun and Spy Kids. He began his career in the Western genre and gained more recognition later with the popular TV series Fantasy Island.
