During Experiment #312, Dr. Clayton Forrester brought "Michael Feinstein" down to Deep 13. Feinstein told anecdotes about the writing of "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'" and "At Long Last Love" before Dr. Forrester asked about how "The Gamera Song" compared. Feinstein proceeded to give his own sophisticated, elaborate rendition of the song. Dr. Forrester then instructed TV's Frank to kill Feinstein before deciding to do it himself.

Later on, a still-living Feinstein showed up in Deep 13 for the Thanksgiving dinner planned by Frank prior to his death. Dr. Forrester was uncommonly pleased to see him.
