Ernest Borgnine (1917-2012) was an Oscar and Emmy-winning actor best known for his roles in shows such as McHale's Navy, Airwolf, and Spongebob Squarepants. He played the title role in the 1955 Academy Award winning film Marty, and starred in controversial filmmaker Sam Peckinpah's western The Wild Bunch.
