Cinematic Titanic is a movie-riffing project spearheaded by MST3K creator Joel Hodgson and featuring former Best Brains members Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff, and Mary Jo Pehl.

The first 7 Cinematic Titanic features were recorded in a studio, and used the premise that the comedians were being held in an underground facility to make jokes about the bad films (for the sake of posterity). The last 5 releases were live performances recorded in front of an audience, without the "underground lair" framing device.

The first Cinematic Titanic DVD, featuring the 1972 movie The Oozing Skull (originally titled Brain of Blood), was released on December 22, 2007. The official premiere of Cinematic Titanic took the form of a live riffing at Lucasfilm headquarters on December 7.

For some time, Cinematic Titanic features were available to subscribers of the streaming service Hulu.com, but the catalog has since been removed. It is unknown if the features will become available to stream again in the future.

Shout! Factory re-released all 12 recorded Cinematic Titanic episode in a single DVD boxed set on August 8th, 2017. It includes a new interview with J. Elvis Weinstein.
