Billy Barty (1924-2000) was an American actor. His career spanned from 1927 to his death in 2000. He was one of the most famous and successful little person actors in the history of films.
Barty appeared in several notable sci-fi/fantasy films, including Willow (directed by Ron Howard), Legend, and Masters of the Universe.
In addition to his performing, Barty was also an activist. He started the organization Little People of America, which was dedicated to promoting awareness and advancement of little persons in the United States.
